Friday, May 4 – 5-8PM – Gallery Stroll – Main Street.  Galleries on 14th Ave. will showcase works of their featured artists. “Non-Gallery” businesses often feature local and regional artists’ work in their establishments and invite the public to enjoy refreshments, and often have special offers for their products and/or services.  Artists will be on hand to greet you and chat about their work.  Enjoy music and refreshments as you stroll in and out of the galleries.  This event is free and open to the public, so join us for First Fridays and perhaps find just that perfect piece of art for your collection

Friday, May 4 & Saturday, May 5 – The Comedy Zone – Riverside Theatre, 3250 Riverside Park Drive – 7:30 – 11PM. Riverside’s showcase of professional comedians touring the comedy circuit on the Waxlax Stage and local musicians on the Live in the Loop stage.  Comedians are Frank Del Pizzo and Bob Lauver.  For more information call 772.231.6990

Saturday, May 5 – 10-2PM, LaPorte Farms, 7700 129th Street, Sebastian.  Kid’s Fishing Tournament – Guaranteed Catch!  Bring your pole or rent one of ours for $5 – NO reservations required.  $10 entry fee – Prizes, Trophies and Awards.  Visit with our critters.  Hamburgers and Hotdogs.

Saturday, May 5,  10-2PM – Historic Dodgertown, 3901 26th St. – Local Physicians and Attorneys are taking to the field at Holman Stadium for the 6th Annual Sawbones vs. Jawbones Softball game.  The rivalry between the two continue….so join in on the fun and watch your doctor or attorney play in the game!  Proceeds will benefit both Live Like Cole Foundation and Jimmy Graves Foundation.  Gates open at 9AM and the Concessions will be open!

Saturday, May 5 – CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATION.  A longstanding community favorite with two locations in Vero Beach, is Ay Jaliso! Ay Jalisco! offers authentic Mexican fare in a casual, family-friendly setting. Ay Jalisco! located at 465 21st St., on the Miracle Mile will be entertaining guests with a mariachi band and drink and meal specials galore while patrons visiting their popular 1909 20th St., Vero Beach spot will get the same awesome drink and food specials as they are serenaded by a Mexican musical trio. Saturday, May 5 – 7-9PM – 10th Annual 4H Cocktail Party and Auction – COURTHOUSE EXECUTIVE  CENTER, 2145 14th Ave.  Break out the big hats and mint julep! The Indian River County 4H Foundation is preparing for our 10th Annual Cocktail party and auction, A Kentucky Derby themed event.  The event is $50 per person at the door or in advance and is our largest fundraising effort annually for the youth of Indian river County.  For more information please visit their website…
